The short version · about 2 minutes

Most plots need only the basics. The rest is exceptions.

Start with the 2 general maps and the current rule chain. Step 2 folds away document branches you mark “No”; the Câmara confirmation stays open.

  1. Start here2 maps used for every plotTogether they show planned land use and public restrictions.
  2. Narrow it down0 quick checksNarrow the route without turning your answers into official facts.
  3. Read in order4 legal publicationsLater changes sit on top of the earlier PDM text.

01

Step 1 · Start with the 2 maps that apply everywhere

Use every map below for the first check. Read each map with the official legend printed on it; a colour has no meaning on its own.

02

Step 2 · Remove what does not apply

These revision-bound checks narrow the reading for this plot. A “No” folds the related branch away, but remains your indication until the Câmara confirms it.

These choices stay in this browser tab. They are sent only if you create a private authenticated report.

What remains in your route

No user choice is needed here. Câmara-only confirmation points appear in Step 4.

  1. Read the general maps and the 4-publication rule chain.
  2. Then screen the point and use the Câmara letter below.

03

Step 3 · Read the rules in the right order

The rule chain that applies throughout Mértola

Read these publications from oldest to newest. Later acts change parts of the earlier text; they do not replace the whole chain.

  1. Resolução do Conselho de Ministros n.º 162/95

Publishes the base regulation and original maps.

  2. Aviso n.º 25954/2010

Replaces Article 24, including parameters for rural building and tourism.

  3. Aviso n.º 15721/2021

    Amends Articles 8, 50, 55, 56 and 57 and adds six special-area maps.

  4. Decreto-Lei n.º 117/2024

The SNIT head records a suspension under Article 199(3), whose parcel-level effect requires municipality or CCDR identification.

Special regimes to check only inside their boundaries

If every related answer is No, this block folds away; the Câmara confirmation remains open.

Additional maps for a special location

A related “No” folds these maps away from the recommended route.

Step 4 · Put the remaining gaps in writing

The published documents do not settle these plot-specific points. Each numbered reference below leads to the matching point in the Câmara letter.

  1. Confirmation pendingWhich general map, urban-perimeter sheet or special-area pair was used for the property?
  2. Confirmation pendingWhich provisions and mapped areas were identified as suspended under Article 199(3)?

Step 5 · Screen first, then write

What GnextD can check now

Check the national datasets for this point

Screening helps name possible intersections before asking the municipality for the exact sheet and regime.

Screening does not choose the urban sheet, interpret the 2024 suspension or replace written confirmation.

Ask the Câmara to confirm this plot

The request asks the municipality to distinguish the general maps, 23 urban sheets, three special pairs and three more detailed plans.

Add the references you have. The Portuguese request updates with the answers above.

Your Portuguese request to the Câmara

The questions are grouped so the request stays answerable. Your choices guide the route; the Câmara still confirms every exclusion.
